Sarah Palin has unexpectedly announced her resignation as Governor of Alaska. Variously described as a 'whack job' and as having a 'narcissistic personality disorder', she has a Sun-Mars-Saturn conjunction in Aquarius. Here are my thoughts on the subject.

I would love to read your thoughts on this, but audio takes up too much linear time. (I read quite fast.) I understand it's quicker and easier for you, though. So thanks for the chart.
I actually love listening to the audio. But this time I'm having technical difficulties. It sounds all garbled. Is it just me? I am eager to hear what you have to say about the Whack Job!

You did a very compassionate, concise reading on Michael Jackson' chart, that was much appreciated. With the audio, I learned a lot more about Saturn. And, Sarah Palin was very funny and entertaining. She is "out there" and you gave me a greater understnding of Mars/Aries too. Of course, she put Aquarius into a whole new unique category.
What will she give us next?

Have been enjoying the audios very much. However, on the Sarah Palin audio Boxnet did not give the option of play immediately - when I tried the download there was an error (I have a Mac) and I could not listen. I'm sorry to have missed it - hopefully the play option will be available on future columns.

my two cents on the audio: I just prefer reading things in general, I like to skip back and forth, come back later to re-read something, etc. On audio, I find my attention wanders.

Very disappointed, unable to listen. Why don't you do 2 versions of your posts. One written and one audio as some of us cannot download your audio.
You will be loosing some readers because of this switch to audio which isn't user friendly to some of us.
Really wanted to hear this one; her candidacy scared the hell out of me... but since you changed the format I now can't listen to your recordings! I have a Macbook. Anyway, loved your voice, but will be missing your posts.
The general trend toward everything in audio or video is scaring me a bit; I am convinced we will lose the art of reading one day! And I'm often in places where I don't have the ability to put on headphones or start making noise so audio usually has to wait until I have quite a bit of free time. But still, I would have listened to this one, were it still in a format I could use.
Out of bandwidth and to be honest - I agree with the others that prefer to read! (I have a subscriber account with a certain astrologer and find that I always have to play it 2-3 times at least because my attention wanders yet read everything he says..) I use the web in a noisy home environment - radio / tv / kids talking and dog barking ;-)

What does out of bandwidth mean? I just tried playing it myself, and it won't play, though it did a couple of days ago! Same for my Saturn in the birthchart piece.
OK, I've just upgraded to unlimited bandwidth, so that problem should be sorted. I'm just off for a day or two, but I think by popular demand I'm going to have to mix written blogs with audio blogs!
I'm interested by Palin's Neptune square to Sun-Mars-Saturn and how it makes her feel inside. I suspect it makes her feel a little confused about her own glamour. I think a great deal of her appeal to the Republican party is her looks. It's like they're saying that THIS is how they like their women: Beautiful, fashionable, poised, mentally unprepared, and easily manipulated. [Republicans often want the leader who makes them feel good without challenging them in any way. They look at the leader and say, "Ah, yes, THAT'S what I'm looking for! That's the world I like!"] Her square with Neptune suggests to me that she's aware on some level of this glamour she has and isn't entirely comfortable with it. She needs the Scorpionic power of it to accomplish her Aquarian goals but doesn't necessarily like it. Aquarius couldn't care less whether it's sexy; it just wants the ideal to be promoted.
I cannot figure out where Palin's attractiveness is shown in her chart. Gemini-rising people don't tend to be very handsome, and the ruler of her Ascendant, Mercury, is in Aquarius. So, I see indications for height and strength but not the ultra-feminine loveliness of her hairstyle, physique, and sartorial choices. Is her Neptune working overtime?
It's also interesting that Palin has North Node in the first house. I don't quite get people with the North Node in the first house or in Aries. It seems they're only being themselves when they're running independently of anyone else. I find it hard to believe that NOBODY wants what they want, yet it seems that the only way they can get what they want is by running away from other people.
